We want you to have an enjoyable, memorable and safe cycling adventure. To help us ensure this happens please follow the instructions below.

Making a guided ride or holiday booking

It is essential to initially contact us by phone or email to ensure your request is available and your individual needs can be catered for. On confirmation of your booking and the costs you will be emailed a Paypal invoice which, when paid, is your booking confirmation. This invoice will include full details of your booking and must be paid in full on receipt. This offers you the payment protection of Paypal. No booking is guaranteed until full payment is received.

Brief Booking Terms and Conditions

  • All bookings must be paid in full to confirm the reservation.
  • No refunds will be given for any activity or hire cancellation.
  • All guided rides are indications of the types of rides available, and can and will be honed to individual requirements.
  • We highly recommend you obtain travel insurance
  • No meals are provided in any guided cycle ride
  • Helmets are provided at additional cost and we strongly advise their use.
  • No bike hire cost is included in the guided cycle rides and no discount will be offered if you bring your own bike.
  • All children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
  • All children under the age of 18 must wear a helmet. Refusal to do will so eliminate them from any booked cycling activity with no refund to fees paid.
  • Anyone cycling in a discourteous, unsafe or dangerous way while on a cycle adventure will be asked to leave the ride and find their own way back to Lowick.
  • We reserve the right not to take an individual on a cycling adventure ride for whatever reason we think fit.

Full terms and conditions

Park and Ride

Here at Lowick we have free parking while you are away cycling together with toilet facilities. If you are travelling up to the Lakes for a day's cycling anyone hiring a bike or taking a bike tour can have a complimentary hot shower at the conclusion of the day's event, please bring your own towel. Similarly if you wish to start and finish the Fred Whitton from Lowick, parking and a free shower are complimentary together with a cuppa and cake on your return.
